Bob Atkinson: Partner, Client Services
Bob has been invigorating brands on both the client and agency side of the advertising business for over 20 years. At McKinney & Silver, he played a key role in the North American resurgence of the luxury German carmaker, Audi. Using above and below the line marketing efforts, he helped the Austrian energy drink, Red Bull, take America by storm and fend off competition from Coke, Pepsi and Anheuser Busch. In 2004 he once again joined the client side as Advertising Director with the $1 billion advertiser, Cingular Wireless (now AT&T), and helped to overtake Verizon to become the #1 wireless brand in America.
Bob joined an Atlanta consulting firm Brighthouse that had just been handed the $85 million Delta account and was task with deploying those financial assets where they would get the best return. Bob helped Delta refocus on their home turf and regain the loyalty of the long-ignored and lucrative Atlanta market.
Bob joined Brandikon originally on Heineken’s Amstel Light brand. Together they delivered the messaging strategy and break-through creative the brand desperately needed to invigorate their core drinkers and attract new loyalists to the Amstel Light brand. Most recently, he managed Brandikon’s corporate branding assignment for Beazer Homes (BZH on the NYSE), and led the international strategy team on AVG Software.
